Tom Gilbert
Regional Conservation Services Director
Tom joined TPL in January of 2008 to direct conservation finance campaigns in the mid-Atlantic region. Prior to joining TPL, Tom worked on federal and state conservation finance issues in the Eastern U.S. for the Wilderness Society and served as Executive Director of the regional Highlands Coalition where he led successful efforts to pass federal and New Jersey state legislation to protect the Highlands. He earned his M.S. in Natural Resources Planning from the University of Vermont.
