Rachel Dinno works in state capitols throughout the western states to develop new conservation funding sources and to create legislative and budgetary opportunities for conservation measures. Ms. Dinno worked to secure the passage several statewide resource bond measures (including Prop 12, 13, 40, 50, and 84) in California, serving various capacities from campaign steering committee member to finance director roles. These measure are the largest resource bonds in the nation's history, generating over $15 billion in conservation funding. She was also the lead sponsor and legislative advocate for the California Natural Heritage Preservation Tax Credit Act, Urban Park Act, Rangeland, Grazing Land, and Grassland Protection Act, and the River Parkway Act.
